Jason Rhy Pomeroy stood in the middle o the cafeteria, food in his hand as he decided where to sit. He was tempted to sit alone, but that would bring attention to himself and some jackass may try and become 'friends' with him while he ate. So...sitting alone was rules out. What about sitting with some random stranger? Now, as tempting as the offer may be, he didn't want to draw even more attention to himself.
He was back to square one. At the moment, Rhy almost hated himself for leaving his aunt and uncle for this town as everyone seemed to already know each other and have their own little groups. He huffed, a little too loud to be usual and strut over to an empty chair beside an alone person. He placed the tray on the table and gave the person a shy smile, "Hi....I'm Rhy."

Rosemarie was usually sitting alone at lunch, and it definitely was the way she wanted things to stay. Since her first day at school, she befit ever some to anyone unless it was asked of her by the teachers. This kind of made her seem like a loner, but she loved company depending on who was the person and if they were too inquisitive. Rose has been sitting down in her place at lonely lunch table reading a book trying to keep her mind off of the people around her. If anyone found out what she was, they could use her magic for such terrible things. She often found comfort in taking to her pets and many times she has contemplated bringing her puppy to school to keep her company. Wouldn't that be slightly dumb? What if she got caught? The amount of questions that made her stop in her tracks before going along with her plan.
The witch had been so submerged in her book and thoughts that she hadn't realised that someone has been right in front on her until she heard his voice. Looking up, she cringed inwardly before forcing a genuine smile. "Hello... Hey. My name is Rosemarie," she replied sitting up straighter to welcome her guest. The smoke started on her face as she tried to telepathically talk to get darling puppy who was left at home alone. Poor thing, she should really think of bringing him to school someday.

Rhy sat down gingerly next to the other senior, "Nice to meet you Rosemarie. I hope I'm not disturbing you too much...I can go if you want?" He offered, shifted uncomfortably on the chair. By now he had realised the girl's thoughts were elsewhere, but he tried to be polite and start a conversation, "So...umm...Rosemarie? Are you in any clubs at all or..." He trailed off, his sentence awkward and blunt. He blushed a little, and he tugged on his brown cotton jacket. He glanced sideways at the girl, clearing his throat to speak again, then went silent. He was really not good at making friends.

Rosemarie smiled kindly at the boy as he continued talking, to her nonetheless, it wasn't something she was totally used to. Still sometimes a change is better than staying to herself all the time with no friends to enjoy her free time with. "It's a pleasure meeting you as well, Rhy. No not bothering me at all, you can stay," she said. Rose didn't want to come out as a next person looking for attention. In fact, she was trying to do the opposite here. Most people at the school have friends, but she was just floating around trying to avoid everyone. This encounter was her first small conversation with someone.
The Animal Witch was surprised to see that Rhy was actually trying to continue a conversation with her. It was a first time thing, but she didn't protest. "I... I tend to keep my distance from large crowds. Clubs might not have many attending, but there's still more than one person, so no I don't attend an clubs," Rose replied shyly. With the conversation with her puppy completely interrupted, she tried to pay more attention to Rhy. She could sense something different about him, but she didn't want to drive him away by asking anything. "Did you join any clubs?" she asked curious to why he wanted to know if she was in any clubs.

Rhy very much agreed with her statements about large groups, and then gave her a wavering smile, "I-I'm in the language club, but it seems I'm the only member at the moment." He ducked his head, and stared down at his fried rice. He wasn't quite sure why he was continuing to talk with her, it was definitely getting him noticed and that was the one thing that shouldn't happen.
To be honest, Rhy was never one to be a loner, not unless it was self inflicted. He used to enjoy big crowds, but now they just hurt his head with their loud sounds and noises. He turned his gaze back to the other girl, his confidence increasing a little more, "So, what do you do for fun here? I've been to the Shopping Distric, and the cemetery but...None of it has been all that interesting."

Rosemarie smiled lightly at the Senior wondering what it was like in clubs. She kept herself out of any large events in car the group of people there was too much for her to handle. If anything telepathically contacting her puppy or any of her fist friends kept her happy and not as anxious anymore. "Is it fun? The clubs I mean, I've never joined one," she asked him shyly. It's been a while since she actually did anything fun, but she hadn't let that stop her from learning about the fun activities she was missing.
There was still something very particular about the boy, but it wasn't anything Roae didn't feel before. Sitting next to humans and sitting next to a supernatural creature was a very different feeling. Right now, she could feel the energy of a supernatural creature surrounding her. How she was the only supernatural person at the table, or sshe thought. Maybe she was wrong, but she didn't want to just spit out the question. "Um... Rhy? Is there a reason that you are sitting with me today? Not that I don't want your company, but I usually sit on my own. I really hope you don't freak out when I say this, but the energy around you isn't completely human," she said, "You are supernatural, am I right?"
That was a touchy subject for her, but Rose kept going. She heard his question of what she did for fun. What would he think if she said that she ran off into the forest to talk to her friends? "I read books, nothing too exciting. Oh and I play with my darling little puppy," she replied. Would he think she was crazy if she had mentioned the forest bit? "What do you do for fun?"

Rhy shrugged, "I haven't been to a meeting or anything yet. Just joined the other day." He told in answer to the questions about the club. He started to grow restless as she inquired about why he had sat with her, and his heart almost stopped as she asked the dreaded question. His jaw went slack and his eyes went wide. How had she figured it out already? Was he that obvious?
No, that wouldn't make sense. She said that his 'energy' was different, what did that mean? With questions running through his head, the boy straightened his spine, giving off a 'don't mess with me' vibe. "And if I was? What would you do about it?" He refrained himself from overloading her with questions, but his breath was short and nervous. Fears about being found out mixed in with the curiousity, the were was quickly starting to panick.
He barely heard her words about what to do, and his eyes screamed in distress.

Rose was surprised that he hadn't been to any of the meetings, but when he explained that he had just joined the other day, she understood. "Well, tell me when you find out. Hopefully they won't be completely boring and a complete waste of time," she said playfully. Usually meetings weren't supposed to be boring, but sometimes the way the student interpreted it made it seem as though there was no point in going to the club anymore. There was something in the air that disturbed her, but she stayed quiet not knowing whether to address it. His reastion from her previous question had been slightly unnerving. Her mind trailed back to her puppy back at home, and started their telepathic conversation once again. She didn't want to say anything to the poor animal about her company and how he might be something more that just the human he looks like from the outside. Honestly speaking, or in this case thinking, she didn't care if he was a supernatural creature, she would still try to be friends with him. She gave him a weak smile before responding, "I wouldn't do anything about it. It's what makes you special, and I would never try to change that about you. We all have something we want to keep hidden from the world, but make sure that if you are supernatural to keep yourself out of trouble. People like to take advantage of what you are." She didn't say anything else on the matter, just sat there with her mind in two places at once. She didn't mind sharing what she was as long as she could trust him not to tell anyone. She would definitely keep his secret if he decided to tell her.

Rhy tried to calm himself down, but he was still intensely suspicious of the girl. Fixing her with a calculating stare, he asked, "How could you...see my energy? What are you?" The poor boy hadn't been introduced to a variety of creatures, just the wereanimales and the druids. He didn't think she was a druid, she didn't smell like one.
She had a spice scent to her, that made the coyote in him curious enough to stick around instead of walking away. Rhy tapped his foot impariently, "You have probably already figured it out but I am a..." He lowered his voice even more as he discreetly glanced around, "a coyote."

Of course he would think that she could actually see energy, it wasn't like that. Rose refrained from glaring at the creature as she responded, "I sense energies not see them, it's just something a... well... I can do. Listen, I would really like to keep what I am a secret, so when I reveal it to you don't say anything to anyone else." She took at Fri breath to calm herself down. Much like the werecreature in front of her, she would enjoy not being found out. "I'm a witch," she whispered quietly hoping he could understand what she says.
When he spoke again, she smiled lightly. "Not to worry, your secret is safe with me," she replied. The entire time she knew he was a werecreature, but she couldn't have guessed the specific were creature. "I actually didn't know exactly what you are, but I did know that you weren't human. It's the reason why I decided to ask you about it. I hope you don't mind," Rosemarie said after a while.
