Veronica had always been strict, that was the way that she was. Sometimes, it had been both a curse and a gift. A curse at her house, however a gift at her school. Cassandra had always called her to strict, never letting her out on a full moon, always complaining that she had never trusted her self-control, but Veronica knew that Peter was still alive and in Beacon Hills. She hadn’t liked that at all. But she thought it had been a good idea to move Cassandra back to where she was born, their home town. She had been setting up the class for English and she had certainly hoped that the students would pass with flying colours, but there were quite a few troublemakers, Cassandra being one of them. She had also hoped that more Freshman and Sophomore’s would sign up, however that clearly wasn’t the case, so she had decided to mash the classes together and give worksheets separately. She had turned towards the board and put a table on the board, ready to give a seating plan to her students, as not to cause a whole lot of trouble. She knew that her daughter would be foreign and perhaps rude to people older than her, so the only suitable candidate would be the other Freshman. She had then stepped away from the board and admired her handy work. She knew that there might be some hissy fits and annoyed glares, but Veronica had grown up with it, thanks to Cassandra. That girl could be a piece of work when she wanted to be. Veronica had been proud of her daughter, always with her fighting spirit. But at some times, she reminded her too much of her ex-husband, Peter Hale. Now that had been a nightmare. Veronica had sat down at her desk at the front of the room and divided the worksheets amongst AP and non-AP. She had asked the students to apply for either AP or non-AP, but none of the students had. But she had still decided to keep some AP worksheets just in case. She had always wondered how everyone would go with AP classes and everything that came with the responsibilities, but she knew that they were smart and that they could try their hardest at everything that she threw their way, especially after the disaster of the last English teacher, Jennifer Blake. She wasn’t even going to go there. Veronica had sat straight in her chair and pulled out a planner to write down a couple of bits and pieces here and there and little reminders as she waited for the first student to arrive.
Students must post at least three times to pass the class, socialisation does not count. Homework might be assigned to make up for third post. You have two days to get your characters to class as it will start on the 29th of April.

Scott had been dreading English, never really looked forward to it, but he had made himself a promise that he was going to try harder this year, be a better student, a better friend, a better son, a better Alpha. Well, the last one he would have to try harder at, but he would also have to get some lessons from Derek. He had walked into the classroom and the first thing that he saw on the board was one of the worst things ever! Seating plans. Just the thought of the thing made him shiver in annoyance and discomfort. He was pleasantly surprised that he was going to sit next to the new girl. Maybe this class would be interesting after all. "Hello Miss Veronica Carter, how are you?" He asked as he sat down in his designated seat. He got his notebook and pen ready and waited for the other students to arrive. He had hoped that he wouldn't be the only boy n the class, but he had also hoped that he wouldn't want to tear his hair out afterwards.

Bethany had nothing much to do that morning, she had finished her chores that night, so now all she had to do was get to class. Standing outside in the cool air, she turned to go inside the school. There must have been some subject that she would be able to enjoy, English alright, but she didn't like sitting inside the entire day. At some point during the day, she would always go outside to enjoy the cool breeze. She walked through the hallways to get to her English class, hoping she wasn't the first one there. Beth had always been so antisocial, and that probably wasn't going to change. She didn't need anyone finding out what she was, she didn't want to be used for anyone's schemes. There was one exception, if they had asked her to them help them to help others, she would agree to align herself with the person. If it was for something that didn't matter to her, she would walk away, and never turn back to the person. As long as the others around her hadn't figured out what she was, she wouldn't have to deal with any of that. Beth stepped into the classroom, and greeted the teacher. "Good morning Ms. Veronica Carter," she said happily before taking her seat in the second column in the first row. There had only been one other student in the class, but she just pulled out her book and started reading. She didn't want to draw too much attention to herself.

Kira had been ready for school, she didn't know how the day would go. There would sometimes that her connection with her katana sword would take over her, but that wasn't too often. It was getting more common though. She stepped into the school, and made her way to the classroom. She wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't the first one in the class, but she had taken her time to get there. The more time she spent worrying about what might happen, the more of a chance the fox would take over. Kira just had to keep her mind off the whole thing. She walked through the hallway, and stopped at her locker to drop off the books she didn't need at the time and grab the ones she needed. Today shouldn't have much going wrong, her mind was already wandering to other things that allowed her to relax a bit. The kitsune stepped into the classroom, and smiled. "Good morning Ms. Veronica Carter," she greeted before taking her seat next to Scott. Things had been different between them since she started to be overwhelmed by her fox aura, but she still cared for him. Nothing bad would happen to him, and she could promise that. She turned to Scott McCall, "Hey Scott, how are you doing?"

Post by Malia Tate on Apr 26, 2016 20:05:22 GMT
Malia wondered how she was going to do in the English class, she was better at reading than math. That was all she knew. Maybe spending all those years out in the wilderness wasn't the best idea. She still had a lot to catch up on at school. Still she was having quite a bit of trouble understanding Lydia's notes in math. She walked through the hallway towards the English classroom where she was sure she was going to do better than she did in math. She was still hesitant to enter to the room though. She looked in, and gave a small grimace when she saw the amount of people that were already in the room. Why did she have to come here today? She didn't want to make a fool out of herself, and she most definitely didn't want to read out loud or any of that sort of thing. Lia stepped into the classroom with a hesitant step, and greeted the teacher. "Hello Ms. Veronica Carter." She turned around and took her seat next to another girl which she hadn't met before. Staying quiet was her best option, so she pulled out her highlighters and math notebook to continue her process of making sure she learned what she needed to in math.

Valentina sighed softly as she grabbed her books from her lockers as she wanted to be mentally and physically prepared for her AP English class before the semester ends. Breathing exercises doesn't help the young girl as she tried focus on being the best student in her junior year. "If only I could skip the class." She murmured to herself as she made her way into the classroom. As the young kitsune stepped foot inside of her classroom, her fingers gripped her books tightly as she made her way inside, "Hello Ms. Veronica Carter" her voice wavered slightly as her nerves overtakes the young girl as she made her way to her desk within the seating chart and focused on her books as she didn't want to draw too much attention to herself as she was nervous and didn't need to have a panic attack with more nerves riding on her.

The first student to walk through the door, was a problem student, Scott McCall, always skipping class and hardly ever turning up for school. It had been a miracle that he had gotten here at all. But still, Veronica had smiled at the Lacrosse Captain and watched him take his seat. “Hello Scott McCall, I’m very well thank you. Are you taking AP or non-AP this year?” She had asked as she got ready to walk towards the boy with the correct worksheet in her hands, but until then she could only smile as more students decided to walk into the class. The next person to enter was a quiet girl, who she didn’t know much about. “Hello Bethany Jade Collins, are you taking the AP class?” She had asked as she waited for an answer from the quiet girl. She saw that she had pulled out a book before her question and thought that maybe she would wait for the class to begin before handing out the worksheets. Another girl had walked into the classroom; the girl she knew instantly as Ken Yukimura’s girl. History had been quite an impressive subject and she had always wondered how the daughter of a history teacher would be at the actual subject. “Hello Kira Yukimura,” she had said simply, voting to take the second option of asking when the class began. The next girl to enter made Veronica’s blood run cold. Malia Tate was someone she never thought she’d see again, however there was no mistaking it. The girl was Peter Hale’s daughter; she had been sure of it. The only difference about the girl from Peter was the eyes and the chill that ran through Veronica’s blood only climbed. This girl would either be a friend or a foe to those who were supernatural. She had hoped it wasn’t the latter. “Hello Malia Tate,” she had greeted the junior and knew that the girl would not be going for an AP grade, but still, thought it would be polite to double check anyway. The next girl to enter the class looked like she was about to hurl. She had been nervous, Veronica didn’t even have to sense it, as she could practically see it written all over her face. “Hello, @valentina. Just relax, you’ll be fine,” she had whispered with an all-knowingly smile as she went back to dividing the worksheets. If Valentina was anything like her sister Lydia, she’d be going for the AP class. It had been no surprise to Veronica to see that her daughter had been running late, but she had also been confused about the transfer student from Devenford Prep, although, hearing what happened at the lacrosse tryouts, she wouldn’t be surprised if he had the next six months off! Although Cassandra had another five minutes before the tardy bell rang, she couldn’t help but worry about her, as mother’s did. Maybe her daughter would come waltzing through the door in the next thirty seconds, maybe she wouldn’t, Veronica couldn’t be sure of Cassandra’s movements as she was never one to do the same thing twice. Cassandra was her own fighting warrior and there was absolutely nothing that Veronica could do to change that. Words: 550 -- Class will begin shortly. Characters missing are @sam, Cassandra Carter and @liam.

Samantha was quite happy that day, she woke up quite early and went for a walk in the woods. The walk was quite pleasant and she managed to cast her magic on various plants which were trampled by the people. The many advantages of being an Earth witch was that she could control everything which is connected to it. She loved it that way, aa it was a wonderful gift to have. She knew that elemental witches are quite rare as they born of a witch and a human. Many would not come into terms with a woman who is a witch much less stay with her after knowing about it. She was happy for a fact that her father was going to be home the next week as he has some work here. Samantha skipped her way to the English class and in a serene voice she said "I hope I'm not late, Mrs Veronica Carter." She saw that a place was assigned to her at the back of the class beside another girl. She was about to go to her place when she suddenly sensed the emotions coming from the headmistress which were quite not good. She turned back and looking at the teacher she said "Are you alright Mrs Carter? You don't look quite well". Sam made her way to the place and settled down with the book bag by her side. She opened a book and pencil and waited for the class to start. Sam could feel that except for the teacher, all the students were supernaturals. She could easily sense that because of her witch power which only was a gift to the elemental witch, no other witch could tell that just by looking at them or by standing near them. She knew that no one could sense that she was a witch, (even a true alpha could not do that) and that was something she wanted. Words : 322

Liam was still a little pissed off with the way things turned out at the lacrosse tryouts. He kind of expected a tough time to gain his position in the team but what he didn't expect was two juniors who totally nailed him down and gave him a broken ankle. He was still not sure of his position in the team, and that did not help him at all. He had to be on the team, be tried so hard for it and he did not want the incident from Devenford Prep repeating here. He was trying to make things right and wanted to see his father proud of him, well step father. But either way he was not a happy man and the string of incidents which happened in the hospital was still a mystery to him. The boy was covered in blood and looked like a blood sucker to him and his eyes really creeped him out. And the junior, McCall was another mystery to him, as he looked with all of the facial hair, red-eyes, pointed ears he looked like someone who came straight out of a mythology book. He shook himself off his thoughts and saw that he was almost late for his first class of the day.
Liam made his way to the English class and with a smile he said "hello headmistress, I hope I'm not late ".The first thing he noticed was that McCall was in the same class as him. He still did not know how to react after the junior bit him on his hand yesterday. Thinking about the wound his hand unconsciously reached towards the white creoe bandage on his arm. Without giving a second glance towards the junior, he looked at the board. He saw that the class had a seating plan and he was quite surprised to find himself next to the blonde haired girl in his year, the daughter of headmistress. He decided to start and break the girl's attitude as that was not how a beautiful girl like her was supposed to be. He wanted to see how the headmistress would react when her own daughter was late to class. Or is Cassandra bit going to attend the class at all. He has to wait and watch.

Cassie had always been one of those girls where she didn’t care about the consequences, but considering her mother was the English teacher, she was definitely not going to test her boundaries, especially at this time. Her mother had been weirdly on-edge and overprotective the last few months of them being in Beacon Hills and Cassandra could only imagine why. Secretly, she had hoped it was her father. She had wanted to beat him up from the get go for what he had done to her mother, but most of all, she wanted to beat him up for what he did to her. As in supplying the werewolf gene.
Cassandra had sighed dramatically as she walked through the door to the English classroom. She already knew what her mother was planning to do for the lesson as she had run through it all last night over dinner. Cassandra, of course, had pretended to listen as she didn’t want to find out and then convince herself not to go, as of course, she would have.
“Hey -,” she had been in the middle of greeting her mother when she saw the seating chart on the board. Anger flowed through her body like the blood in her veins. She had certainly not been impressed with the turnout. “Are you insane?” She had hissed as she walked right up beside her mother. “Are you seriously going to pair me with the obnoxious jerk from Devenford?!” Cassandra could feel the urge of the change, her blood slowly turning to fire. She had to force herself to calm down, to control herself.
“You know what, it’s fine. I’ll handle him if he gets on my nerves,” she had whispered as she made her way to the designated seat. She knew that her mother wouldn’t have done it on purpose, at least she had hoped she hadn’t, but she also knew that she wouldn’t have had a chance for the lesson to go on until the other students had arrived. Her mother was such a peacekeeper.
