Listed below are all rules and regulations, that you as a member, are to follow due to your membership of Silver Rose. Should any of these rules be violated, the member in question will be PMed with the information regarding the broken rule, directly from Veronica Carter or Isabelle Kyles . Further violation of the rules, will result in warnings and possible loss of membership. You, as a member of Silver Rose are responsible for reading through the rules prior to joining and creating a character here on Silver Rose. You must check in at least once every two weeks to check that these rules have not been updated. Ignoring rules is not an excuse for breaking them. Punishments will be dealt out under the impression that every member is familiar with the rules. Once a member gets to the third warning, or go against the terms of service of ProBoards, it will result in loss of membership without notice from Administrative staff. This site is AU, which stands for Alternative Universe. The site begins in Season Four, still revolving around the Deadpool, however there is a major change. For information on this change you can visit the Site Plot for more information. Before we can sort you into a group, you must first create a character, using the Character Registration board. Which you can find, here. This must be done in order for you to post on the site. Listed here are our general site rules, all numbered and linked to the correct post. 1. GENERAL SITE RULES - We are a modern day site with an AU plot starting from Season Four. This site started on 1 March, 2016, so therefore not a lot of information is available to us at this moment in time. However, if a member finds any information that they think might be relevant to this site, they are to contact either Admin Georgia or Admin Kyles before adding it to the site, just in case it does not hold any relevance in the AU.
- The word of Administrators' Georgia, Kyles and Serena is final. If you are told something by a Moderator or Admin and you don't understand, please ask us, as we are here to help you with anything you need. PLEASE NOTE Moderators are NOT Admin.
- If you are not a member of staff, you have absolutely no authority over ANY member. If you find someone breaking the rules of this forum, you are to report it using the "Report Post" button, which is located under the gear icon on every post. Once it is reported, admin can assess the issue and deal accordingly, therefore no member feels like they are being hounded or harassed, as this is a form of CYBER BULLYING and will not be tolerated on Silver Rose.
- This site, is NOT A FANFICTION site, although it is similar. It is possible for you to bring a character in from a fanfiction that you have written, however you must still complete a new character application so Admin can check the character's history matches up to the site's history. Plots created here are to be the norm for students and adults (whether being human or supernatural). Please remember that character's who are created to go through the same type of life as Canon Characters and are not tied directly to the plot of timeline will be rejected by Admin.
PROBOARDS RULES AND REGULATIONS - Per ProBoards Term of Service, mature content is not allowed on this site. Included in this category is, but not limited to; scenes of a sexual nature or excessive graphic violence. If you believe a scene you want to write might break this rule, please contact Admin to make sure it is safe for the boards. Swearing is only allowed in dialogue, but please refrain from being overly excessive. Racial slurs will not be tolerated any anyone found breaking this rule will have loss of membership immediately.
- Suicide, self harm, eating disorders, drugs, rape, incest, adult/child relationships, teenage pregnancy, child/spousal/animal abuse and mpreg are not allowed on this site. Teen pregnancy include fathers as well. No character under the age of twenty can be a parent on this site. This included through direct contact (personal messaging). If Admin discovers that members are partaking in behaviour that violates the ProBoards terms of service both parties will be suspended for two months, will have 3 warning and will also lose PM privileges for a month upon return.

2. ADVERTISING RULES - To advertise on this site you must first go to the ADVERTISING BOARD, which you can find on the Home page. Any advertisements made outside of this board will be deleted by Admin.
- Please don't advertise in the shoutbox, as the shoutbox is purely for conversation between members.
- In accordance with the ProBoards Terms of Service, any other site who want to advertise on our site, must also be entirely free of mature content.

3. POSTING RULES - THIRD PERSON ONLY
All role play posts are to be in third person, past tense. The only exception to this rule is when they send personal messages to other characters via the 'YOU'VE GOT MAIL!' board. - ABSOLUTELY NO GODMODDING!
This means that you cannot control another character's actions, thoughts, feelings, dialogue, etc. Only the character creator has the right to express his/her characters reply. - WORD COUNT EXISTS!
Within any thread, there are ample things to reply to, or to be referenced such as your character's feelings, dialogue, etc. All posts must be at least 100 words to give another person enough information to formulate a good response. - A BIG NO TO DOUBLE POSTING!
You cannot double post within the same thread. You must wait until another person has posted before you can post again. If you need to edit your post, you may do so, but keep in mind that you cannot edit your post simply because you don't like a member's character's response. - A BASIC UNDERSTANDING OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE PLEASE!
Basic understanding of spelling, grammar and punctuation is expected on this site. We do not require perfect grammar and punctuation, but an understanding of literature is expected. Please refrain from using chat language while posting. For example; tq, brb, lmao, ttyl. These are a STRICT NO. - CHARACTER DIVERGENCE
This site is one character PER account. Each character is to post from their own account, even within the same thread it is required to switch to the correct character to post.

4. CHARACTER RULES - NO PERFECT CHARACTERS
There is to be absolutely no perfect or "flawless" characters, as nobody is perfect, so therefore the characters shouldn't be either. Please do not create Mary-Sue or Gary-Sue characters as those applications will be rejected without a thought. - CONFLICTS
Conflicts between characters have to be planned and are to stay between characters. Any conflicts between players, or out of character (OOC) are to be resolved peacefully. If an agreement is not reached that is suitable for both members, admin can be called on to solve the dispute. If conflict remains after the dispute has been solved, members will be punished accordingly. - APPLICATIONS
When your application is accepted, all the information in the application is final. The appearance and personality of a character may change over time, but character and family history is to remain the same. If there is a part of the application which includes the name, age or character and family history, it is to be brought to Admin Georgia before any changes are made. If it is a large enough change, then Admin have the right to request a new application to be submitted and the character will be unsorted until the new information is accepted. - ABSOLUTELY NO CROSS-OVERS
This site is strictly a Teen Wolf site, so that means no cross-overs. You can base your character on the appearance of a celebrity, but naming your character after a celebrity is prohibited. In order to keep confused about celebrity claims at bay, please refrain from mentioning movies, television shows, musicians, bands and celebrities. The only thing that can be mention in the forum are books and "Star Wars" due to it being a hot topic in Season four. - PLOT DISCUSSIONS
All character deaths must be discussed with an administrator. Though we know about the plots which take place on the site, it is impossible for us to know about every single plot that happens. Most plots do not need direct administration involvement or attention, but there are certain things we simply must know about, as they affect the entire site. These events include character murders, abductions and The Bite of the Alphas. We require that any of these major actions be run by the administration before they can e committed on the site. - CANON CHARACTER RULES
If you are creating a Canon character, they are to stay true to how they are in the show in terms of personality and history. If the character's history is unknown, you may make it up until the point where the character is introduced. Any variances of their personality have to be discussed with Admin Georgia prior to submitting the application for a Canon character, otherwise it will be rejected. - STUDENT CHARACTER RULES
If you are creating a student character, please be realistic. A student can not be 16 and be a senior. Note that if you have a student character it is required for them to pass at least five classes, Maths and English are compulsory, (you will not move to the next level without them), with 3 posts or more in order to move from being a Freshman to a Sophomore, so on, so forth. - AGE LIMITS
We do not accept characters under the age of 8 years old.

5. STUDENT CHARACTER RULES - PASSING CLASSES
Students must post at least 3 times to pass class. You must pass at least 5 classes (Math and English are compulsory) to advance to the next grade. If you fail, you will remain in the year you already were. - PUNISHMENTS
Teachers have the right to hand out punishment and detention. If a student receives detention, they are first to report to Deputy Headmistress Kyles and if it is a severe case then they have to report to Headmistress Carter and then proceed to the detention room. Detention usually includes cleaning the trophies, arranging the library or helping any teacher, etc... - BULLYING
Headmistress Carter does not tolerate bullying of any form, whether it be out of class or during. Punishments will vary depending on the level of severity. - PRE-SOCIALISATION
Socialisation before class has started is acceptable, however when the class starts, it is expected all conversation comes to a halt.
HANGOUTS - AFTER SCHOOL HOURS
Beacon Hills offers many places for your characters to relax and enjoy themselves. However, this is not a chance for members to push the limits of character's relationships. Anyone caught breaking this rule will immediately have three warnings and potential loss of membership. - All students can apply for jobs at the Shopping District, Food District and Nightlife Court. However, Nightlife is strictly for student character's over the age of 16.
- Any members found with their character's in forbidden areas (Nightlife Court, or in the school after hours) will find themselves with a warning from Admin. Any such incidents should be first sorted with one of the admins prior to posting.

6. JOB RULES - APPLYING FOR JOBS
To apply for a job, member's must first fill out a job application form in the Registries Board. There are multiple forms of jobs at various places, which each can be found in the appropriate thread. If you have any questions about jobs, contact Admin Georgia or Admin Kyles, as we can help with any questions you might have. - INTERNSHIPS
Member's can apply for internships for their character at the Hospital, Sheriff's Station, the School or the Veterinary Clinic. Again, any questions are to be aimed at Admin Georgia or Admin Kyles. - ADULT BOARDS
Adult boards such as the School Administrative Staff will remain closed to students if they have not applied for an internship position. Some boards at the Sheriff's Station and Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital will also remain closed to students. - PAYMENT
All jobs will be paid for character's. It is up to the member whether payment goes into the family account, or a separate account for that character's savings. - PUNCTUALITY
If a character does not show up for their shift (in our case, who do not post in their place of work on a rostered day), they will be fired from their job to their discretion with the owner of the store. - PURCHASING A RETAIL SHOP
Shops can be purchased through the real estate board. They will have to fill out an application and wait for approval from Admin. - JOB INTERVIEWS
A character who wants to work in a place which is already owned by another character has to wait for the owner's approval, as they own the place and have the right to accept or reject a character. If more than one character applies for the position, the owner of the shop has the right to bring character's in for job interviews.

7. SHOUTBOX RULES - NO PLOTTING
The shoutbox is purely for chatting between members out of character. Yes, you may talk about certain relationships of your characters, but please refrain from plotting in the shoutbox. - NO ADVERTISING
Links are allowed, however not to another ProBoards site. If you have another site and would like to advertise, you are to go to the Advertising Board. - NO BULLYING
Member accounts will be deleted without notification from Admin if they are found bad-mouthing or talking about another member behind their backs. This is a bullying free site, we do not tolerate it. - Not Guest Friendly
The shoutbox is not guest friendly, but we welcome new members with open arms, as we are all very friendly and looking forward to having more members on the site.

8. CHARACTER REGISTRATION - TWENTY CHARACTER LIMIT
A limit of twenty characters are allowed per member. This is more than a generous amount of characters. However, you should only create as many characters as you can handle. You know your limitations better than we do, so please make sure you are posting actively with your existing characters before deciding to make a new one. We also ask that you attempt to be diverse with the characters you create. If you think that you want to create more than 20 characters, then please approach either Admin Georgia or Admin Kyles and we will consider your offer basing on your activity with your existing characters. - NEW CHARACTER RULES
Your characters must be active before you create a new character. When you create a new character, you will be asked to provide the number of posts that you have made with each of your existing characters within the past two weeks. We will not accept your new character unless all of your other characters are active. However, each of your characters must have at least 15 posts in ROLE PLAY ONLY posts. - NAMING OF CHARACTERS
Your display name should be your character's name. This should be your character's full name; middle names are optional. Nicknames in quotation marks should not be included. For example, we will not allow names like; Carla "Dria" Adams, Saskia "Kia" Sanders or Alexandra "Alex" Levitan etc... - DO NOT REQUEST THE ADMINS TO LOOK AFTER YOUR APPLICATIONS
All of the administrators have lives outside of the site. Please do not pester us to sort your applications, particularly via outside methods of communication. If forty-eight hours have passed since your application was posted and if none have responded, then you may approach an administrator to remind them. If you need help, Admin Kyles sorts adult applications, Admin Georgia sorts students applications and Admin Serena sorts child application from the ages of 8-13. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in a hold on the application for twenty-four hours before it will be sorted. - REMEMBER TO POST IN THE CELEBRITY CLAIM
It is important that you visit the CELEBRITY CLAIM and claim the celebrity that you plan to use, as soon as your character is accepted. If you do not post your claim and someone else claims or reserves the face you have been using, the person who claimed them will hold the right to use that celebrity, regardless of how long you have been using them. Remember, reservations do not automatically become claims once your character is accepted. Please note, that you are not allowed to use any celebrity claim until it is accepted by the admins (this is an exception for Canon Characters). - RESERVING
There are two ways to reserve a celebrity, first if you are already an existing member of the site, then you can post in the celebrity claim thread. Second, if you are a new member, then please send a PM to Admin Georgia or Admin Kyles so we can add it to the list to make sure nobody tries to reserve the same celebrity.

9. CHARACTER ACTIVITY - INACTIVITY
You can lose your character's positions due to inactivity. Those who take on positions of leadership in careers or organisations must be active in these roles. We do not want a headmistress, director of the hospital or a sheriff to be inactive, as they are always a major part in the site plot. If you have not made an in-character post with this character in over a month, another member has the right to contact Admin Georgia or Admin Kyles in relation to applying for the position. - ACTIVITY CHECKS
Activity checks are held every month, in order to purge the site of inactive characters. All those characters who have not posted will be receiving a personal message and they will be on the hit list for that month. Those members on the hit list will not be allowed to create new characters. They will be removed from the hit list if they are seen to be posting by the next activity check. The only exception is if the members have already talked to the admins or posted in the ABSENCES THREAD. - CHARACTER INTEGRITY
Do not make characters for the sake of deleting them. Character creation is a part of writing, but no characters deserves the injustice of being created for only one of two threads.
