Ken Yukimura

Age : Mid 30's 

Family : Noshiko Yukimura (wife), Kira Yukimura (daughter)

Mr. Yukimura is of Korean descent. He took his wife’s family name when they married because she was the only surviving member of her line. They explain that they did not keep both names or do a hyphenate because they were married in Japan where the law says a couple must share the same name to belong to the same Koseki or family registry.

It is revealed that he used to be a professor at Columbia University in New York and is teaching History at Beacon Hills High School
He invites Scott over for dinner as he was concerned over his daughter, Kira's lack of friends. We know that, Mr. Yukimura is also an excellent sushi chef. He translates some mysterious Japanese voicemails left on Allison's phone and helps the pack. He is very concerned when his wife, Noshiko breaks her tails to summon new Oni.

Noshiko Yukimura

Age : 900 year old 

Family : Ken Yukimura (husband), Kira Yukimura (daughter)

Noshiko was born sometime in the 12 century AD. She is of Japanese descent and her family has been in Beacon Hills for many generations.This would place her birth in the Heian Period in Japan. Noshiko is a Celestial kitsune. This type is also known as "Light" or "Heaven" Kitsune.
 In 1943, Noshiko was locked away in a United States Internment Camp for Japanese-Americans called Oak Creek.She was held prisoner under Executive Order 9066 which suspended the U. S. Constitution and took away the rights of thousands of American citizens.
 While at the camp, Noshiko fell in love with Corporal Rhys, a young army medic stationed there. She helped her fellow prisoners by stealing food and medicine from the Army and Rhys looked the other way to protect her.

When an epidemic of pneumonia swept through the camp, it was learned that the doctor had been stealing and selling the drugs needed to treat the prisoners. A riot ensued in which Noshiko was shot several times. Despite her ability to heal, the bullets left her so weakened that she appeared dead.  Rhys was badly burned and died a short time later at Eichen House. As her body was being taken with the rest to be burned as a way to cover up what had happened at the camp, Noshiko prayed to her ancestors to send a Nogitsune to inhabit her body so that she could seek revenge. Instead it chose to inhabit Rhys' body and then proceeded to kill everyone at the camp and at Eichen House. Noshiko had her katana in her possession when she was at the Oak Creek internment camp in 1943.  She used it to stop the Nogitsune. After stabbing the body and excising the spirit, the katana shatters to pieces. She buries it in the basement walls of Eichen House along with Rhys' body. She took the spirit of the Nogitsune (in the form of a fly) and buried it beneath the Nemeton.
 
After several years, she comes back to Beacon Hills,as she confronts the Nogitsune saying it "knows" her and that she will kill it.She breaks two knives,which in reality are her "tails," in order to summon the Oni and she seemed to control them. She helps Kira use her Kitsune abilities and tells the story of how the Nogitsune was created to Scott and Kira. She uses the Oni to see if the Stiles they pulled out was the real Stiles, and later she goes to Oak Creek ready to kill the Nogistune, but the dark spirit uses the tail stolen from her to control the Oni instead of her. After the Oni are taken from her, she tells Kira the only way to beat the Nogitsune at his game is to make "a divine move."

After breaking her tails in her second battle against the Nogitsune, Noshiko describes herself as "technically" a Kitsune.

Kira Yukimura

Age : 17 years old 

Family : Ken Yukimura (father), Noshiko Yukimura (mother)

Kira and her family move from New York to Beacon Hills a few weeks before the events of Season 3(b).Kira's mom, Noshiko, is Japanese while her father is Korean. Her mother's family has a connection to Beacon Hills going back generations.Her father, Ken, claims Kira hasn't made any friends during her first three weeks in school but she is not shy and boldly inserts herself into a private conversation with Scott and his friends. Kira and Scott quickly start a romantic relationship.

Kira first manifest a supernatural ability by absorbing dozens of megawatts (estimate) of electricity into her hands. Flash photography and Scott's enhanced werewolf vision reveal the glowing outline of a fox surrounding Kira's entire body.
Later, she goes to Scott's house and confesses that she is Kitsune showing him a children's story book about the creature. She is tagged by the Oni, proving that she is not a Nogitsune or dark kitsune. Derek believes William Barrow may have used her, and her foxfire, to somehow energize the Nogitsune inside Stiles. Kira learns to use a katana and also finds that having a sword in her hand gives her balance and agility she lacks in her everyday life.

Learning that her mother is actually a 900 year old Kitsune, Kira must decide if she trusts her family. She uses foxfire to repair her mother's sword. Kira and Allison take on the twins and Isaac who are all possessed by the flies of the Nogitsune. After learning about the game of GO, Kira realizes that another enemy she has to face is her mother who still believes the only way to save Stiles is to kill him. She battles the Oni with Isaac and Allison after their allegiance switched to the Nogitsune. She joins Scott, Stiles, and Lydia to battle the Nogitsune at the school.

Kira goes with Scott and the gang to Mexico, to find Derek. She and Lydia discover a slashed up body. Later she helps Scott and Malia fight the berserkers. Kira discovers her parents want to move back to New York. She and Scott resume their romance. Kira tricks Liam into going to Lydia's lake house.
