Cassandra had always known what it was like to be in front of the camera as she had been since she was a young girl thanks to her mother. She had always enjoyed modelling; made her feel powerful, like she had the entire world in the palm of her hand. She had put a hand on her hip and cocked her head to the right as more shots came. She sighed inwardly to herself as she tried her best not to let it take over her and smirked cheekily into the camera. She had to keep up her persona, she couldn't be seen being sad or hurt. But the truth had been simple, she had been hurt and she still was. Her father had abandoned her and her mother for as long as she could remember and her mother wouldn't even mention her father's name, let alone give her a clue. She had kept moving in front of the camera, as it was basically second nature to her and she knew exactly what they wanted from her. But that still didn't make it hurt any less. Words: 186

Jason trudged into a store, a little peeved at himself. As uncoordinated and directionally challenged the boy was, he didn't know why he was venturing out on his own. He frowned deeply and fidgeted with the chain he had in his hand. He stepped into a store, the name being about 'sweat' or something. In the back corner of the store, a girl seemed to be posing in front of a camera. She was wearing very bright clothing, and he wondered why. He took a few steps forward, then extended an awkward smile at her. Maybe she was modelling the outfit?

Cassie had been satisfied when the camera had been lowered and been put on a table. She ran her fingers through her, now, bright orange hair and tossed it over her shoulder in her signature move that everybody knew her for. She had raised a perfectly arched eyebrow when the new kid entered the store and gave her an awkward smile.
She had smiled in return, after all, she wasn't overly cold, just to the people she couldn't stand. She took notice of the boys obvious distress and made her way over to him all the while, grimacing at just how colourful her outfit was.
"You lost?" She asked as she crossed her arms, put out her left hip and cocked her head to the right, being the bitch she was. Not the cold-hearted bitch, but the wolfy kind, after all, she could smell the coyote coming off of him in waves.

The words from the girl seemed cold to the werecoyote, and he frowned, taking a small breath. His nose was instantly attacked by the pungent smell of wolf from the girl. He took a timid step backwards, not sure what the girl would do, "I- Yeah." He answered awkwardly.
He furrowed his brow, completely and utter done with this town. All the other supernatural creatures put him on edge, and he was almost as antsy as he was back at his hometown. Taking another quick sniff of her, he decided that she was a beta, and that startled him even more. So there was a pack living in Beaken Hills. Trying to ignore his panic, or at least show the girl he wasn't scared of her, he cleared his throat, "I was looking for the food court..."
