Malia had lived so many years of her life in the wilderness, and it wasn't like she was ever going to forgive herself for what had happened eight years ago. She was now living in the mundane world once again, brought back to her human form by Scott, whom she owed many thanks as well as her anger towards him. She was still trying to get used to the way people did things around the world, but it wasn't so hard. Today was just a day which she had decided to revisit her old home in the woods, it had been a while since she had been able to come down and visit the place.
She walked through the enormous forest, and came to a stop in front of the car where her adoptive mother and sister had been murdered. Lia reached in, and moved her hand around trying to find the doll her little sister carried around with her all the time. It took awhile, but she found it, and pulled out of the car. It wasn't as nice as it had been so many years ago, but it was still something she could remember her sister by on occasions like this where she didn't have much to think about other than coming out to see the things she missed about her old life.
She placed the small doll back in the car wreck, and continued off towards the area where she used to sleep was. It wasn't far from the car seeing as she had to always keep an eye on it. She stepped into the hide out, and started to look around as she remembered fitting in the dirt patch perfectly in her coyote form. It was quiet as she sat down to take in her surroundings. Not much had been going on in the forest since she had left.
She was getting up to leave the area when she heard the sound of rustling leaves in the background. She stayed calm for a bit before she could feel her eyes light up the way they did when she was turning. She could see a human form out in the distance, but instead of moving, she stayed in place waiting.

Samantha was not able to pin point the way she was feeling. A part of her was excited that she was going to school for the first time, as she has never been to school even as a child. She was born with the Magic to control Earth and manipulate it according to her wishes. But the magic would be quite unstable in their early life and out takes sixteen years of their life to achieve the stability. She had to stay home and learn to control her magic. There were often incidents which happened around her due to her Magical instability like sudden growtg of trees around her, Sometimes there would be slight tremors which are caused by her magic. But a part of her was worried about the above reasons, she has never even talked to people other than her family. She was still pondering over the fact that there might be a chance that her identity may be known to others and they might distance away from her.
If Sam thought about it, Beacon Hills had its own secrets and a whole bunch of supernatural kids was one of them. So she hoped that the resident alpha doesn't know about her identity. Often witches are taken into possession and are manipulated by tricking then into using their power against their morals and in turn end up killing themselves. She knew that the dead pool was still active and Scott McCall's pack is on the hit list. She knew any the status of Scott being the true alpha after many years. She respects him, but she is still not ready to let him have a glance at her aura. It was a boon for the witches to be able to conceal their aura even from the alpha.
Samantha was walking through the woods and was letting her magic play around in the woods. She was walking in a green color long dress and watched as it shined when the speckles of light fell on it. She looked around and began to break the trees, as she went deep into the forest. That was when Sam felt the presence of another human, near her. The benefit of being a Earth user was that they could know who are present around them. She could feel that the human was a girl around her age. She wondered if the girl was lost and approached her with caution. She saw that the girl was standing near a patch of cleared area.
Even from the distance between them, Samantha could easily identify the blue eyes of the girl. She could feel that the girl was a creature, and hoped that she was alright. She relaxed her demeanor a little and waited towards the girl and said "you are not lost are you? " she asked in her dreamy voice.

Malia carefully watched as the human form walked through the forest, she noticed the trees falling, but could have just been a coincidence. There was nothing going on out there right? At at least the werecoyote hadn't seen anything too out of the ordinary, and if she had, she would have tried to do anything to help the girl. Though she still had some trouble controlling her coyote form since Scott brought her back to her mundane form. She drifted from the her thoughts at the moment, and turned to her patch of dirt again remembering of that night well she had lost control of herself during the full moon eight years ago. It was the reason for her family's death. She hadn't been able to control her transformation, instead, she changed and attacked her family leaving only her adoptive father alive. She had fled from the scene, but it never fled from her mind.
She came back to the present, and looked around to try to find the girl again. The girl had vanished, she turned around to look in the direction that she had seen her before once more. It was then that she heard an unfamiliar voice, she turned to face the person, with a growl. Her eyes bright blue as she realized it was the human girl she had seen earlier. She took a few steps back from the girl to try to calm herself down. "I'm sorry, just a second," she said as she started to take in deep breaths to calm down. Once everything was back to normal, Lia turned back to the girl. "I'm not lost, thank you for asking. I'm Malia by the way," she answered. It was impolite to address the person by the pronoun, but sometimes it came out as much easier.

Samantha could now feel the girl's aura as she neared her. Sam could tell that the other girl was definitely a creature from the unmistakable growl she heard earlier. As the girl apologized Aam shook her head a little and said "not at all. I should be the one to apologize. It looks like you were lost in thoughts ".She saw that the girl was trying to calm herself down, so Sam decided to give her the calmness and felt heragic swirl at the place. That was when she sensed that the place they were standing held a lot of memories. Memories of a certain girl, a coyote to be precise. Sam wondered if those memories belonged to that of the girl who was standing in front of her.
She smiled dreamily as the girl informed her that she was not lost. She gave a nod and said " funny isn't it? Being all alone in this place and yet you are not lost."Her voice was in her usual dreaminess and it was quite musical to hear. As the girl introduced herself, Sam gave a smile and said "Hello Malia,I'm Samantha nice to meet you ".She gave a puzzling look at the girl and asked " do you come here often? I've never seen you around "

Malia didn't know what to do, she had never seen such a creature. Well, she didn't even know what kind of creature she could be, but it didn't feel as though she was human. Lia wasn't about to bring that up to the girl though, so she stayed quiet not knowing what to say. She couldn't bring herself to glare at the girl either, she hadn't done anything wrong other than interrupt her visit to the place she lived for so long. It wasn't her fault though, and this forest wasn't only hers to walk in, so she smiled as she heard the girl speak. "Yeah, well... I was just coming here to remind myself of somethings," she replied to the girl. Of course, she wouldn't share exactly what she had come to remember, but she had a feel the girl already knew the basics. The memories weren't something she had been proud of, and some times she just came out here to reminder herself, she wasn't the hero she acted like. The pack had been nice enough to help her, but she was never going to have total control over herself until she faced her past with an open mind.
The werecoyote mere stared at her when she spoke again. It didn't seem funny, but that was probably because the girl didn't why she had come out here. It was kind of like a habit to come at least once a week, if not everyday. "I don't know. This place has never held the memories that allow me to be happy. Quite the opposite really, it reminds me how monstrous I can be," Lia replied without getting into too much detail about whereabouts. She didn't want to explain her whole life story to a complete stranger. The dreamy tone in the girl's voice was making her feel so light hearted at the moment, at feeling she usually only got when she was talking to Stiles. "Nice to meet you as well Samantha," the girl greeted back trying to be nice, not that she wasn't nice, it was that she wasn't usually feeling as cheerful in this area of the forest. The question that Samantha asked her next was easy to answer, but she didn't know whether it was a good idea to tell her. As long as it didn't mean that she would have to continue to explain the reason why she came here so often. "Yes, I come here often. Do you often come here?"
