Cassandra had always loved getting away from her home. Sure, she loved her mother, but she hated being there all the time only for her mother to tell her to be careful. Cassie knew what she was, she knew how to control herself, but her mother always thought that she was going to lose control and rip out someone's throat.
Cassie had handed over some money, took her Green Tea off of the counter and walked over to one of the booths along the wall. She had made herself comfortable and pulled out a notebook that she used to document strange occurrences that she had observed and any anger issues she might have had.
Cassie knew that she got angry often, but she hardly ever lost control, there was only one time her fangs had come out in public and to her defense, it hadn't been her fault at all. It had been the fault of whoever had ticked her off and there were a few people who didn't know not to piss her off.
Cassie's eyes had snapped up at the person who had approached her and she raised an eyebrow in a questionable glance. "What?" She had snapped at the person, annoyed beyond comprehension.

Malia had been having a hard time getting through all the mundane things she had to do without her coyote powers. She had been starting to cope with how everyone was doing everything. Having still a few minutes a day to go out to the forest to check on the car wreck that had contained her once living adoptive family. She still went out to see if anything had been touched. The doll her little sister carried around when she was still alive. School was something completely new to her, Scott and the rest of his friends or pack as they were usually called had been trying to get her comfortable with the school environment. Now that there was nothing for Lia to do, She was debating going to the shopping distric. With nothing truly important for her to do, or at least nothing that she knew how to do - the homework had been something she needed help with seeing as she missed eight years of her own education.
In the end , she swung her backpack over her shoulder, and stepped into the shopping district. She tried to find a where she could sit down to read the notes her friends had given her, so she could try to do her homework. The place had been crowded, and she was having a lot of trouble trying to stay in control. The forest had always been quiet and peaceful, but that was usually because no one ever ventured in there.
Lia stepped into the quietest place she could find, and looked around it had been a juice store. She could smell the berries and ingredients behind the counter used to make juices. She looked around for an empty table, but found none, for such a crowded place, it was really quiet. She found a table with a few extra seats, and walked over to asked the person if she could sit there. Malia reached the table, and was about to ask her question, when the blonde turned to her with a questionable look. The way she snapped at her nearly made her growl in anger. She took a breath, and placed a smile on her face trying to act as though that hadn't gotten to her. "I was just wondering if I could sit here," she replied trying to keep her voice steady. She could smell the annoyance coming off the blonde, but that was probably the same for her.

Cassandra had smirked as she smelt the annoyance flowing off of the girl in waves. Cassandra had flipped her hair over her shoulder and gestured to the seat next to her. "Feel free, but beware; I bite," she whispered as she masked her scent, hiding the fact that she was a werewolf from the girl, although Cassandra knew exactly who she was. Malia Tate, a Junior and part of Scott McCall's pack, but little did Cassie know, Malia was a lot more than that.
Cassandra had turned her attention back to her Green Tea and the notebook in front of her. Instead of documenting what was happening to her, she had turned her attention to Malia and jotted down notes about the girl and anything she saw that confused or made her curious.
Cassandra couldn't deny it, she really was curious about the girl; but she knew better than to go delving around in things that didn't concern her. But she couldn't help it. Cassandra was as helpless to being drawn to something like how a moth would be drawn to a flame and she wouldn't realise it until she had been burned. But like her mother always said; she was her father's daughter.

The coyote merely smirked when the other girl smiled at her.. It was pretty obvious that her annoyance was flying off of her like the waves in the ocean all crashing onto the one person in front of her, but she didn't care at the moment. The girl had allowed her to sit next to her, and Lia gave her small smile before taking a seat. The warning the blonde had given her didn't faze her at all, if she wanted to cause any commotion in the juice store, she had no problem with it. It would be her choice, and Malia wasn't going to fall in the trap. "Don't worry, I can take care of myself," she replied. The freshman was always having a problem with Liam, and it was really starting to get quite annoying.
Lia grabbed placed her bag next to her, and pulled out all her highlighters and notebook, and placed them on the table. She watched the girl, and hesitated when she saw her writing in her notebook. Her light brown eyes slowly turning their bright blue, but she used her hair to cover them. It was never good to loose control in front of everyone in a public place. She continued to highlight her notebook trying to act as though nothing was wrong. She was only glad that she had been strong enough to prevent her claws from emerging.
She looked up from her notebook when she felt the eyes of the blonde on her. It was something that she didn't understand, but somehow after being brought back to the mundane world everyone had been starring at her in a skeptical way. "Is there something you want or need?" she asked with a slightly sarcastic tone of voice.
