Scott currently lives with Melissa. She supports Scott by working as a nurse and R.N. at Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital+. Rafael is a field agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)

When Scott was only a toddler, Rafael divorced Melissa and left the family. Scott had been accidentally injured from falling down the flight of stairs caused by Rafael who was drunk, during a fight with Melissa. Rafael left the family the next day in shame. Scott kept in touch with Rafael, and though there was a period of time when Scott lived with his dad, Rafael was mostly absent from his life.

Stiles Stilinski became Scott's best friend for a significant portion of his life going back as far as grade school. They consider each other brothers+. The two would go on, getting into a history of teenage mischief. Scott had severe asthma that required the use of an inhaler. In grade school, he also met Theo Raeken.



Scott attends Beacon Hills High School in Beacon Hills, California, where he plays lacrosse and runs cross country, though was unpopular and a bench warmer for the team. He is in his sophomore year at the beginning of the show. Scott has an after school job at the Beacon Hills Animal Clinic as an assistant to Alan Deaton. Alan came to serve as a mentor and father figure to Scott in his life.




Scott’s life becomes very complicated when he is bitten by a werewolf, while crashing a crime scene in the woods with Stiles, became a werewolf himself. Originally, Scott sees his new life as a werewolf as more of a curse than a gift. Later he finds out that the girl he likes, Allison Argent, is the daughter of a werewolf hunter, Chris Argent.

Scott’s lack of control quickly gets in the way of getting to know Allison and playing on the Beacon Hills High School Cyclones Lacrosse team. While his new werewolf abilities make him the best player on the team, the frustration of the game cause him to shift uncontrollably. As he and Stiles search for answers about Derek’s role in Scott’s bite, they discover a dead body buried at the Hale House. The dead girl found in the woods and at the house was Laura Hale, Derek's own sister. They also learn the effect that wolfsbane has on Scott.

Stiles learns that Allison is the key to Scott’s control. He figures out that the werewolf transformations are connected to Scott’s heart rate and Allison calms him down. At the end of the season, Scott tracks down and releases Derek from the hunters. Allison and her Aunt Kate attack both of them. Peter Hale is beaten by Scott, Allison, Stiles and Jackson. Scott begs Derek not to kill him because if Scott does it, he might be cured of his curse. Derek kills Peter anyway, leaving Scott a werewolf but now reconciled with Allison. Derek becomes the new alpha.

Scott embraced his new abilities as a means to help people.




Derek forces Scott to watch as Gerard kills an omega werewolf in an attempt to get Scott to join the pack. Scott and Allison continue to date in secret despite Argent’s warning to stay away. Allison is confronted by the Lizard Creature and Scott wolfs out and scares it away. Scott learns from Dr. Deaton about a book the hunters have that will detail all the creatures they've seen, the Bestairy. Gerard invites Scott to dinner where Scott breaks into Gerard's safe looking for the hunter's book of creatures but finds only a cookbook. Scott rushes back to the school and saves Stiles and Derek from the kanima. Later Gerard stabs Scott in the gut and threatens his mother.

Scott tries to keep Lydia safe after Derek decides she is the kanima. Scott that Lydia might be immune to the bite. Scott, Allison and Stiles beat Erica and Isaac in a fight at Scott's house leading Derek to believe that Scott is already an Alpha of a his own pack made up of his human friends. Jackson, under the control of the master, threatens to kill them all, Scott reluctantly joins Derek's pack in order to deal with the him

Scott works with Derek and Dr. Deaton on a plan to subdue Jackson. While Stiles deals with Jackson, Scott is hit by an SUV driven by Allison's mom. She puts in a room with a cannabis vaporizer filled with wolfsbane. He also sees Matt and the kanima together and believes Matt is the Kanima Master.

Scott finds Jackson menacing his mom and stops him Jackson runs out and is followed by Derek, Scott then shows himself in his wolf form to his mom and she seems horrified at what Scott has become. Matt was shown to have been working for Gerard and giving him intel.

Gerard wants Scott to turn over Derek. He has the Kanima hold Mrs. McCall hostage and then threatens to kill someone at the game to get what he wants. After the game he and Isaac attempt to trace Stiles, but Derek and Peter show with a plan on how to save Jackson and stop Gerard. With Chris Argent's help, Scott takes Jackson's bod y to a warehouse where Gerard and Allison are waiting for them. Gerard reveals his master plan to use Derek to cure his cancer with the bite, but it backfires when reveals he and Dr. Deaton switched his pills with Mountain Ash.



Allison and Scott break up after she realises what she has done by following her psychotic grandfather. Scott agrees to it and for the past four months he's attempted to improve himself. He's trying to be a better son, a better friend and a better student.

He also managed to avoid calling or texting Allison for four months.

He's called to the hospital by his mom to check on an injured Isaac. He finds his friend being kidnapped by an Alpha werewolf. He fights but loses and Derek steps in to save the day.
Scott helps Derek restore Isaac's lost memories. He and Derek break into the bank vault and find themselves facing a trap with an out of control Boyd and Derek's younger sister Cora Hale. Allison saves him.
A student is taken outside the Vet Clinic after speaking to Scott. The body is discovered near the school the next day. Later he and Isaac tangle with the Alpha Twins.
When Dr. Deaton is taken by the Darach Scott and his friends go on the hunt to find him. When Scott finds him in the abandoned bank and tries break through the Mountain Ash barrier his eyes turn red. Deaton tells him he is a "True Alpha", and Scott realizes that Deucalion is after him and not Derekott discovers The Alpha Pack is living in Allison's apartment building. He cautions Derek against attacking them. Scott tries to broker peace but leads everyone into a massive battle. He is injured but his guilt over Derek's death won't allow the wound to heal.

Scott has a theory - he believes the Darach is a druid formally associated with The Alpha Pack. Questioning Ethan, he finds the former emissary from the twin's pack along with those from Ennis and Kali are dead. Only Morrell remains as adviser to Deucalion. Scott confronts Ms. Morrell and learns that Deucalion wants a True Alpha to join the pack and if he can't get Scott to join then he will get him to kill and ruin his True Alpha potential.

Scott helps in defending Jennifer from the Alphas at the hospital during the storm. The Darach takes his mother and Deucalion offers his help to save her but says Scott must join him. Scott stops Deucalion and the Alphas from killing Ms. Morrell. Scott's dad comes to town. Later he becomes a "surrogate sacrifice" for his mother.

Scott survives his "sacrifice" and fights Jennifer Blake alongside Deucalion. He refuses to kill her and becomes a True Alpha while pushing through a Mountain Ash barrier. With Scott no longer having Allison as his anchor, he starts to have trouble controlling his wolf side. His mother encourages him to be his own anchor. They find that Lydia is a banshee and her power came out due to the werewolf bite from Peter.



Scott is still having trouble accessing his Alpha powers due to his fear of losing control. He turns to the Twins (Ethan and Aiden) for help, who try to awaken the beast in him. He finally succeeds while chasing Malia and helps her to transform back to a human thanks to his alpha roar. After an invitation from Mr. Yukimura, Scott goes to Kira's house to have dinner. After they bond over sushi and pizza, she is kid kidnapped by William Barrow, Scott tracks them down and discovers Kira is somehow connected to supernatural.

Scott helps Kira delete photographic evidence of the supernatural glow that surrounds her. At the rave, Scott's enhanced eyesight reveals more about Kira's "power."Scott reveals his werewolf self to Kira and later Scott finds out that Kira is a Kitsune and holds her hand when they both get tagged by the Oni. When Stiles goes missing he and his friends try to find him. He and Derek later discover that Stiles may be the one possessed by the Nogitsune.

Scott tries to help Stiles stop the plans of the Nogitsune but is instead tricked, fed upon, and injured. Scott and the gang rob an armored car to retrieve a scroll that may be the key to rescuing Stiles. He and Kira hear her mother's story of how she summoned the Nogitsune in 1943 and how the only way to save Stiles is to kill him. However, Scott is undeterred and still believes Stiles can be saved without killing him.

Scott lets Kira stay with after she learns about her mother's kitsune status. He later, under Peter's instructions, uses his claws to have Lydia and himself go into Stiles' subconscious and find the real Stiles. Scott and Stiles search for Lydia until they realize she is at Eichen House. Later, after the battle with the Oni, he cradles a dying Allison in his arms.

He battles the Nogitsune and eventually bites him, changing the demon from fox to wolf and therefore destroying his body. Scott later agrees and takes Ethan as a member of his pack after the death of Aiden.



Scott infiltrates the Calaveras' club with Stiles, Lydia, Kira Yukimura, and Malia Tate in a search for Derek. He is captured, tortured by the Calaveras and he finds that Kate Argent was alive and is now a turned into a shapeshifter. He is sent to an Aztec temple to search for Kate Argent and Derek. Scott along with Braeden stumble upon a younger Derek and gets him back to Beacon Hills. Scott and his friends try to figure out why Derek is a teenager again and he decides to go to Peter for answers. They find out that Kate wanted the triskelion from the Hale vault. While at school the gang are attacked by the berserkers and later they find that the bearer bonds in the vault are missing. Kate escapes in that confusion and Malia finds out that she is the daughter of Peter Hale when she sees the adoption papers in the vault.

Scoot and his friends start their second semester of Junior year.Scott accidentally injures Liam Dunbar, a transfer freshman at lacrosse tryouts. In order to save Liam from falling from the hospital roof, due to the wendigo Sean, Scott bites him.

Melissa is a single mother who raised Scott ever since Rafael left them, when Scott was a toddler.Melissa explained to Mr. Harris that she and her son were better off without Scott's father in the picture.She tries cheer her son after his break up with Allison Argent. She lets Jackson Whittemore use a hospital computer unaware that he pieces together her son's secret.
She went on her first date in a long time with Peter Hale. It was ruined by Stiles and Scott who feared Hale would try to bite her and make her a werewolf. We see how lonely Mrs. McCall’s life has become as she sits and cries in her car over the failed date. Later we see her helping Scott get ready for the formal, and she unknowingly gives her son the confidence to tell Allison that he is a werewolf.


She attends to Lydia Martin after her a attack from Peter Hale. While at a lacrosse game, she converses with Matt and witnesses her son get injured on the field only to find that he's alright.Mrs. McCall is called to the sheriff's station by Scott, where Matt has taken him, Stiles, and the Sheriff hostage. As events transpire, she witnesses Derek Hale in werewolf form fight Jackson as the kanima. She then witnesses Scott as a werewolf and is shocked. Gerard and the Kanima hold Melissa hostage and she tells Scott to give the old man whatever he wants. She has a change of heart later as she realizes that something dangerous is happening at the championship lacrosse game. She refuses to leave and tells her son to do whatever he must to help. She rides with Jackson to the hospital where she makes an odd discovery. Jackson is covered in a mucus-like coating and is still alive.
Still new to the supernatural, Melissa calls Scott to help Isaac Lahey when he enters the hospital and is not healing fast enough to get out of surgery. She calls Stiles to ask for his opinion as to who killed the guy at the pool and Heather. They both conclude that Boyd and Cora did not kill them She is seen in the hospital overwhelmed while helping victims of ten car pileup. She also helps Danny by performing a needle thoracotomy. Later she explains to Sheriff Stilinski of how the recent sacrifices are done in a different way. Deucalion pretends to hold her hostage in exchange for Jennifer Blake but then lets her go as "gesture of good will". She helps Scott escape The Alpha Twins by shocking them with a defibrillator. She is taken by the Darach and is tied up with Sheriff Stilinski as "Guardian" sacrifices. She informs Stilinski on as much as she can tell about werewolves and the Hunters. Afterwards she listens to his story about the death of his wife. Melissa and the rest of the parents are rescued with the help of Isaac, Stiles, and Allison.


Melissa tries to cope the boys being werewolves, throwing each other around with super-strength. She tells them that the house is not supernatural-proof.Melissa interviews William Barrow for his prep in surgery and is present when he escapes. It is revealed that her maiden name is 'Delgado.'
She helps Stiles get some sleep by giving him a sedative and later saves her ex-husband's life after he is attacked by the Oni.
She helps Scott's dad find Stiles in the coyote cave and later oversees Stiles tests for a form of dementia his mother had.
Melissa grows concerned with Stiles' recent disappearance and later helps Scott and Allison see Isaac in the hospital.
The Nogistune tells her that Stiles knows about her calling Sheriff Stilinski one night before she and Agent McCall divorced, and she doesn't want Scott to know. She checks Stiles vital signs after he is turned back to normal. She is attacked by the Oni and makes her ex-husband promise that if she does not make it, he will try to make things work with him and Scott. She later consoles her son when he mourns Allison's death.

Family : Melissa McCall (wife, divorced) , Scott McCall (son) 

Agent McCall is estranged from his son for an unknown length of time. Scott mentions once that he was living with his father at a time when he was old enough to ride the bus to school.

McCall was a heavy drinker judging by a story he told about coming home drunk and mistaking the closet for the toilet. He explains to Scott that drinking was his way of coping with his job, the sacrifices that came with it like killing people when necessary.

He's been away from Beacon Hills for quite a long time.



In light of the recent murders (the darach sacrifices), Agent McCall is sent to Beacon Hills to find the killer, but all he manages to do is get in the way of Scott, Allison and Isaac. Agent McCall is gathering evidence of poor performance against Sheriff Stilinski. While this is a recent occurrence, the two men have a previous history dating to before the McCall's divorce. If there is enough to deem him incompetent, the sheriff will be impeached.

Scott's Dad interferes with his son's efforts to save Malia Tate.He leads the search for William Barrow not knowing that the killer is motivated by knowledge about the supernatural. Agent McCall confiscates Kira's phone and Scott must break into the Sheriff's Station to retrieve it. Stiles says he and his father know something about Agent McCall that he wouldn't want others to know.

He discovers that Scott and Kira broke into the station and confronts them. He is attacked and injured by the Oni. He and Melissa find Stiles at the coyote den.

Rafael arrests Derek Hale and Chris Argent under suspicion of murdering Silverfinger. He speaks on behalf of Sheriff Stilinski at his impeachment hearing, saving his job. He finally confesses to Scott that he left the family because, while drunk, he accidentally pushed Scott down the stairs. He helps rescue Melissa from the Oni and promises her that he will try harder to win back Scott's trust.




Scott's dad is trying to rebuild his relationship with his son by sharing dinners - but Scott keeps missing them. He ends up eating with a young Derek and Stiles, inadvertently exposing Scott's lie about the Hale fire to Derek which makes the later leave with Kate Argent.
