Cassandra was hardly ever the one to underestimate the ones around her, however she hardly ever thought that the True Alpha Scott McCall would be one to turn somebody just to save their life, but then again, what else could she expect from McCall and his True Alphiness. It literally made her sick.
She had been happy enough to sit around, crunching away on carrot and celery sticks and glaring at anybody who came near her, avoiding anyone that she didn't see as trustworthy. Her mother had probably wanted her to socialise and get some friends, but she would much rather sink back into the shadows and growl away at everyone.
She had looked up from her carrot sticks and rolled her eyes at the person in front of her. Guess she wasn't going to slink back into the shadows after all. There went her peaceful lunch with the joys of solitude.
